What is Referee Lights?
Referee Lights is a web platform that replaces traditional physical referee light panels. Each referee uses their own phone to vote (GOOD LIFT or NO LIFT), and decisions appear instantly on the main display — perfect for in-person or live-streamed competitions.
How to use in 5 steps
From zero to a running competition. No app install needed on referee phones.
Click "Create session now" above. The system automatically generates a room with a PIN and QR Codes for the referees.
Each referee scans their corresponding QR Code (left, center, right) with their phone camera. The referee console opens directly in the browser — no app download needed.
In the admin panel, click "Open Display" and put this screen on the projector or TV. Referee lights appear here in real time.
Referees vote on their phones. The lights (white = valid, red = invalid) appear on the display once all votes are in. Use the timer and intervals from the admin panel.
Open the Legend/Chroma Key screen and capture it in OBS Studio to overlay referee decisions on your live stream.
